played a show at the Crosby in Santa Ana the other night.
was probably the most awkward show ive ever played in my life. ive played to less enthusiastic crowds, crowds that were further away.. but for some reason this one was just rough.
it was rainy
i was sober
there were lots of girls talking so that in between songs all you could hear was chatter
the closest person to us was Michael, and he was sitting on a bar stool, looking very grumpy
at least we sounded good
